The City of Nanaimo marks a significant milestone this week as it plans to celebrate 150 years of incorporation. Nanaimo was incorporated on Christmas Eve, 1874. And as Claire Palmer reports, this week is the 50th anniversary of the city's first municipal election and council meeting.
