Fire destroys home on Windsor's Moy Avenue

Fire has destroyed a home on Moy Avenue in Windsor, Ont., fire officials say.

Nobody was injured in the blaze, Windsor Fire and Rescue says

Fire has destroyed a home in the 800 block of Moy Avenue in Windsor, Ont., fire officials say.

Nobody was injured in the blaze, but it has displaced seven people.

Crews were called to the scene at around 9:45 a.m. on Monday, said Chief Fire Prevention Officer Mike Coste. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation, but fire officials are not treating it as suspicious.

Officials have estimated the value of the damage at $500,000, according to Windsor Fire and Rescue Services on X, formerly known as Twitter.
