The village of Edam, Sask., is once again facing the aftermath of a fire.
Turtleford RCMP and the Edam Fire Department responded to the Rendezvous Hotel after 9:30 p.m. CST on Sunday.
The village hotel, which has been in business for decades, was up in flames.
The RCMP says the fire is being investigated.
There is no word on the condition of the building.
General store destroyed
The community also lost its general store to a fire in December 2016.
"It's the only store we have in town. It's been there forever," resident Danielle Troesch told CBC at the time.
The cause of the fire was not released.
Edam is 55 kilometres northwest of North Battleford.
