A 26-year-old  man went from the suspect in a robbery, to a high-speed chase, to handcuffs, and then finally to hospital.

Turtleford RCMP were called to the village of Paradise Hill, Sask., at 1:42 p.m. CST to investigate a robbery at a financial institution. Paradise Hill is about 60 kilometres northeast of Lloydminster.

RCMP said an adult man demanded cash, left the building, and left in a truck with an Alberta licence plate.

No one was injured in the robbery.

Officers then spotted a vehicle matching the suspect's description travelling southeast near Edam, Sask.

The vehicle evaded police at a high rate of speed and was swerving between lanes and through traffic.

Shortly after 3 p.m., the suspect's vehicle rolled over 20 kilometres west of Turtleford on Highway 303. The driver was ejected from the vehicle and arrested at the scene.

The 26-year-old driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries. Charges are pending.

No police officers were injured in the pursuit.
