A 24-year-old man is charged with second-degree murder in the death of Kerry Eastman in Winnipeg's South Point Douglas neighbourhood.
Eastman, 44, was found critically injured on Waterfront Drive, between Higgins and George avenues, just before 2 a.m. Sunday. He was suffering from stab wounds and rushed to hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Wyatt Darius Prince, 24, was arrested on Monday in the area of McGregor Street and Bannerman Avenue in the city's North End.
Eastman was a member of Sandy Bay First Nation living in Winnipeg.
Prince is from Winnipeg.
