Mexican citizen found dead in Winnipeg's North End on Monday believed to be homicide victim

Police say they're looking for clues after a Mexican citizen was found dead along a street in Winnipeg’s North End on Monday morning.

Police say they're looking for clues after a Mexican citizen was found dead along a street in Winnipeg's North End on Monday morning.

Officers were called to Pritchard Avenue, between Charles and Salter streets, and found a man dead outside around 10:30 a.m. Monday, police said in a news release on Thursday.

Diego Moscoza, 28, the man who died, was a Mexican citizen who had been living in Manitoba for the last two years.

Moscoza's next of kin have been notified of his death.

Homicide investigators would like to speak with anyone who may have had contact with Moscoza since the beginning of March. Anyone with information is asked to contact the homicide unit at 204-986-6508, or submit an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS or on their website.
