Shots fired into Kitchener home Thursday morning, police investigating
Police say several holes on the side of a home in the Howe Drive and Ottawa Street S. area of Kitchener are bullet holes and officers are now investigating the shooting.
Police believe shots were fired around 3:30 a.m. Thursday
Police are investigating after shots were fired into a Kitchener home on Thursday morning.
Investigators believe the shots were fired in the Howe Drive and Ottawa Street S., area of the city around 3:30 a.m. on Thursday, but officers didn't see the damage to the home until they were called for a report of damage at 4:30 p.m.
"Several holes were located on the side of the home. Through investigation, it was determined that the holes were caused by bullets," a media release Friday morning said.
Police say people were home at the time of the shooting, but no one was physically injured.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
