Every Friday, the q This panel looks at the biggest stories in music news. Today, CBC arts reporter Lisa Christiansen and freelance writer Tabassum Siddiqui join guest host Laurie Brown to discuss the multiple allegations of abuse levelled against American singer-songwriter Ryan Adams.

Among those speaking out are Adams' ex-wife, Mandy Moore, and rising singer-songwriter Phoebe Bridgers. The New York Times is now reporting that the FBI is looking into whether Adams has committed any crimes involving his alleged explicit contact with an underage fan.

Adams denies all of the allegations, but the story has started a conversation about gatekeepers in the music industry and the power imbalance that accompanies them.
