This weekend marks the 50th anniversary of Otis Redding's death. The singer died in a plane crash on Dec. 10, 1967 at the age of 26. In his short career, Redding recorded classic songs like Respect and Try a Little Tenderness. He left an indelible imprint on soul music and music in general.

Guitarist Steve Cropper played in Redding's band and co-wrote songs with the music legend. He joined Tom Power today to talk about Redding, his legacy and what it was like working with that incredible voice.
