Manitoba sticks with countermeasures against U.S. despite tariff reprieve
Premier Wab Kinew said Manitoba's countermeasures introduced after the U.S. levied tariffs this week will remain in place, even as a month-long reprieve on some of those tariffs was announced Thursday. Kinew said the concession from the United States isn't good enough for Manitoba, because even the threat of tariffs is hurting the economy.
