U.S. exclave just south of B.C. issues tariff plea
Point Roberts, Washington, is a U.S. territory which juts out from the Canadian mainland south of Vancouver and is only accessible by land via the Canadian border. The former president of its chamber of commerce, Brian Calder, has issued two separate petitions to the U.S. and B.C. governments to help the territory amid threats of punishing U.S. tariffs on Canada.
