Premier Andrew Furey is home from Washington, D.C., after taking in President Donald Trump’s inauguration with other Canadian political leaders on Monday. Furey says his presence isn’t an endorsement of Trump; rather, it’s an important opportunity to be among the president’s influencers to remind them of the “strength” of the Canadian-U.S. relationship. Furey stopped by the studio to speak with Jen White, host of CBC Radio’s The St. John’s Morning Show.
