The region's first overnight warming centre, located at 298 Lawrence Ave. in Kitchener, opened on Friday. Thresholds Homes and Supports, a non-profit mental health and housing provider, is operating the centre in partnership with the Region of Waterloo. It is open daily from 7:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. CBC K-W's Cameron Mahler visited the centre to find out more.
