Police add third Toronto date to reunion tour
The Police have added a third concert in Toronto to their reunion tour that begins this summer.
Two summer shows in Toronto, July 22 and 23, sold out immediately.
Now the influential British band, whose hits include Roxanne and Every Breath You Take,plans a third concert,Nov. 8.
The Police reunion tour kicks off May 28 in Vancouver and includes two stops in Montreal.
Front man Sting, guitarist Andy Summers and drummer Stewart Copeland played together at the Grammy Awards ceremony Feb. 11.
The following day the Police announced a reunion tour, their first in 23 years,that will take in North America, Britain, Europe, Japan and Australia.
The new batch of tickets for Toronto go on sale March 2 and range in price from about $60 to $225.
Brit rockers Fiction Plane, a trio featuring Sting's son Joe Sumner, will open the North American shows.
