Police look for suspects wanted in York Region home invasion, SUV theft captured on video
Suspect reversed through closed garage door, drove through a gate at Richmond Hill home

York police say they are looking for as many as four suspects after a home invasion and auto theft in Richmond Hill that was captured on security video.
The incident unfolded around 3 a.m. on March 18 at a residence in the area of Arnold Avenue and Guinevere Court, police said in a news release Thursday.
Three masked, male suspects forced their way into the home and demanded the key to an SUV parked in the garage. The victim complied and one of the suspects made his way to the garage, according to police.
The suspect then reversed through a closed garage door and also drove through a gate at the end of the driveway.
Three adults were at the residence at the time of the home invasion. No one was physically injured, police said.
The stolen vehicle was found abandoned a short distance away from the property.
Investigators believe the suspects arrived at the home in a dark-coloured SUV and it's not clear if a fourth person may have been behind the wheel.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact York police or to leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers.
