One dead in head-on collision on Lasalle extension
Greater Sudbury Police say a head-on collision between a car and a transport truck, on the Lasalle extension, was a fatality. The crash killed the 47-year old male driver of the car.

Greater Sudbury Police say the crash killed the 47-year old male driver of the car. He was the only person in that vehicle.
The collision happened around 7:30 p.m Thursday on Lasalle Boulevard, between Frood Road and Elm Street.
No one else was injured.
Police closed a portion of the road for the investigation, but it reopened around 11 p.m., after more than three hours.
Police say there is no indication that alcohol was involved.
The collision is still under investigation by the Greater Sudbury Police traffic management unit.
