Motorcycle collides with moose along MR35 leaving one person injured

Sudbury Police say a woman remains in hospital with serious, non life-threatening injuries after a collision between a motorcycle and a moose. The three-wheeled spider motorcycle struck the animal around 11:30 last night, along Municipal Road 35, near the Lasalle extension.

Sudbury Police say a woman remains in hospital with serious, non life-threatening injuries after a collision between a motorcycle and a moose.

The three-wheeled spider motorcycle struck the animal around 11:30 Thursday night, along Municipal Road 35, near the Lasalle extension.

Police closed a portion of the roadway for about an hour.

A staff sergeant says the moose took off into the bush before officers could assess its injuries.
