The Transportation Safety Board says the investigation into a fatal Georgian Bay plane crash is still in progress.

So far, nothing is standing out as the cause of the crash that took place July 4, Investigator Peter Rowntree said.

Three Sudbury men were killed when their float plane flipped and crashed into the water about 200 metres off Griffith Island. The plane was approaching the runway there.

Recently Ontario Provincial Police reported that Richard Gougeon, James Gougeon and Richard Ross all died from traumatic injuries as a result of the impact.
