Death of man on Victoria Avenue being investigated as homicide: Regina police
Man was found injured in 800 block of Victoria Avenue early Thursday morning

Regina police say they're investigating the death of a man found injured on Victoria Avenue early Thursday morning as the city's third homicide of 2025.
Officers and emergency medical services were sent to the 800 block of Victoria Avenue around 5:30 a.m. on Thursday, Regina police said in a news release.
They found an injured man, who was declared dead a short time later.
Police blocked off a section of Victoria Avenue, between Broder and Winnipeg streets, until around 10 a.m., as officers with the major crimes and forensic identification units investigated.
Officers still had police tape blocking off buildings and yards as investigators canvassed the area on Friday morning.
After a joint investigation with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, the death has been ruled a homicide, Regina police confirmed on Friday.
They said they are not releasing the identity of the victim at this time, and have not indicated his age, except to say he was an adult.
Police are asking anyone with information that could help their investigation to contact the Regina Police Service at 306-777-6500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
