High winds in the forecast for all of P.E.I. on Sunday
Environment Canada says winds could be strong enough to cause damage

It will be a blustery Sunday for P.E.I. as strong winds are expected in the late afternoon and evening, according to Environment Canada and CBC meteorologist Jay Scotland.
This weather will impact all three counties.
Scotland says a 40-to-70 km/h west-to-northwest wind will develop Sunday morning and will increase throughout the afternoon.
Winds are expected to reach 50 km/h on Sunday evening. Peak gusts could range from 70 km/h to 100 km/h.

A strong northwesterly wind will start to ease after midnight, but Monday morning is expected to be fairly windy.
These high winds may cause damage, Environment Canada says, and may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break. It is recommended that Islanders secure loose objects around their homes ahead of Sunday's wind warning.
Motorists on highways subject to high winds should expect dangerous driving conditions and even possible closures on the Confederation Bridge.
