Help spread a little kindness with CBC Mainstreet on Thursday at Founders' Food Hall and Market, 6 Prince St., Charlottetown.
Claire Rankin of the hit series, Son of a Critch. (CBC) Join host Matt Rainnie as he brings together local entertainers and special guests to help Make the Season Kind in support of local food banks during a live broadcast from 4 p.m.-6 p.m.
Claire Rankin, who plays Mary Critch on the popular CBC comedy series Son of a Critch, is coming home to P.E.I. to lend a hand during the live broadcast.
She will be joined by comedian Patrick Ledwell (The Debaters) and musicians Craig Fair, Lawrence Maxwell and Brooke MacArthur.
In the opening hour of the show, Rainnie will welcome the sweet sounds of Prince Street School Glee Club.
Mainstreet columnist "Dutch" Thompson, a recent Order of P.E.I. inductee, will also join in the fun.
