Here's what's open and closed on Family Day in Ottawa

Here are the main closures and schedule changes you can expect on Monday.
Shopping
- The Rideau Centre will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Tanger Outlets will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Bayshore Shopping Centre, Billings Bridge Shopping Centre, Carlingwood Shopping Centre, St. Laurent Shopping Centre and Place d'Orléans will be closed.
- LCBO outlets and Beer Stores will be closed.
- Metro grocery stores at 255 Rideau St. and 754 Bank St. (Glebe) will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Most Loblaws grocery stores will be closed, except for the locations at 64 Isabella St. in the Glebe and at 363 Rideau St. in Lowertown, which will be open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- All Food Basics grocery stores in Ottawa will be closed. The Smiths Falls location will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- All Farm Boy grocery stores will be closed except for the location at 50 Rideau St. in Lowertown, which is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- The Whole Foods at Lansdowne Park will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Travel
- All City of Ottawa parking regulations and restrictions apply.
- OC Transpo buses and the O-Train will run on a normal weekday schedule.
- The O-Train Confederation Line will run from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. The Trillium Line and airport link will run from 6 a.m. to midnight.
- Route 301 to Bayshore and Carlingwood malls will not run.
- Para Transpo recurring trips are automatically cancelled. Para Transpo users can book trips for Family Day starting on Feb. 7. The reservation line will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the cancellations line will be open from 6 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. The taxi coupon line will remain open.
- OC Transpo's customer service centre at Rideau Centre will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- The OC Transpo lost and found at St-Laurent Station will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

City Services
- Most indoor pools, arenas and recreation and fitness centres will be open on a modified schedule. Check the city's website for specifics.
- 311 will be open for urgent calls.
- There will be no curbside waste collection. It's delayed by one day for the remainder of the week.
- Multi-residential garbage containers will be collected on the regular scheduled day. Multi-residential recycling and green bin collection will be delayed one day for the remainder of the week.
- The waste facility on Trail Road will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- All municipal child-care centres will be closed.
- All employment and social services offices will be closed.
- All Ottawa Public Library branches will be closed, but online programs and content are available through the OPL website. Regular hours resume on Tuesday.

Public health
- For vaccination clinic hours and availability, Ottawa Public Health (OPH) directs people to its COVID-19 vaccination and testing pages.
- The Site program office and supervised consumption services at 179 Clarence St. will be closed. The Site mobile van will operate from 5 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
- The sexual health clinic and satellite clinics will be closed.
- Health811 will be open for calls.
- OPH dental clinics will be closed.

Museums and galleries
- The Canadian War Museum will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- The National Gallery of Canada will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- The Canadian Museum of Nature will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- The Canada Science and Technology Museum will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- The Canada Agriculture and Food Museum will be open 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- The Canada Aviation and Space Museum will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- The Canadian Museum of History will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- The Ottawa Art Gallery will be closed.
- City-operated museums, Meridian Theatres @ Centrepointe, and the Shenkman Arts Centre will be closed on Monday.

Skating rinks
- The Rideau Canal Skateway is weather-dependent. You can check if it's open on the National Capital Commission's website. When it is open, it's free and accessible 24/7.
- The Rink of Dreams at Ottawa city hall will have special programming for Family Day, with details to be posted on the city's website. The rink will be open its usual hours — 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. — weather permitting.
- The Lansdowne Park skating court will be open until 11 p.m., weather permitting.
- The Ben Franklin Place skating rink will be open until 11 p.m., weather permitting.
- The Jim Tubman Chevrolet rink will be open until 10 p.m., weather permitting.
