61-year-old killed in South Glengarry crash

Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a fatal two-vehicle collision Tuesday morning south of Alexandria.

OPP say 2-vehicle crash on County Road 25 was reported shortly after 6 a.m.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a fatal two-vehicle collision Tuesday morning in South Glengarry.

Police say officers were called to the crash on County Road 25 south of Alexandria shortly after 6 a.m.

A 61-year-old male from South Glengarry was pronounced dead at the scene. Police did not release his name.

The other driver had no serious injuries, according to OPP.

A section of County Road 25 was closed to traffic near Chapel Road. OPP said around 12:30 p.m. it had reopened.

The crash happened about 25 kilometres northeast of downtown Cornwall and about 80 kilometres southeast of downtown Ottawa.
