The QEII emergency department at the Halifax Infirmary has resumed regular operations after a partial power outage on Friday night.

Earlier on Friday, Nova Scotia Health said the emergency department was only accepting patients with life-threatening emergencies.

In an update later on Friday night, Nova Scotia Health said normal operations had resumed.
