Join CBC and the Nunavut International Film Festival as we celebrate the incredible filmmakers from Canada and beyond while supporting Inuit language, culture, and stories. The festival runs from April 23 to 27 in Iqaluit.
The variety of entries are from filmmakers across Nunavut and Arctic communities. From documentaries to short films, animation and feature length films, there is always something to watch at this year's festival.
The Nunavut International Film Festival was created to support and foster collaboration and connection between filmmakers of Canadian, Inuit, and international cultures. All films are in Inuktut or have Inuktut subtitles and include Northern, Inuit or Indigenous stories and themes.
