Suspects sought in St. John's armed robberies

Around 7:20 p.m., officers and a K-9 unit responded to an armed robbery at a store on Campbell Avenue.
Police said a lone male carrying a weapon demanded cash and fled the scene on foot.
Meanwhile, the RNC was called to another armed robbery at a business on Ropewalk Lane around 11:20 p.m.
The suspect had his face partially concealed and managed to get away with a small amount of cash.
He was last seen on foot, behind the Sobeys grocery store.
No injuries were reported in either incident, and police didn't specify what kinds of weapons were used.
