A letter was issued to parents on Monday following a weekend of public sector negotiations between unions and the government.
The latest strike days include Dec. 9, 10 and 11.
The announcement comes days after thousands of public sector workers across Quebec promised to walk off the job on Dec. 9 if they don't have a negotiated deal with the provincial government by that time.
Teachers, health-care workers and civil servants are slated to strike that day.
Parents and teachers will also form human chains around some schools before class starts on Dec. 1 to protest cuts to the education sector.
Public sector workers, including teachers, have been without a collective agreement since April.
