Châteauguay police locate 71-year-old woman who had gone missing

Châteauguay police say a 71-year-old woman who had been reported missing has been found and is safe.

Châteauguay police have found a 71-year-old woman who had been reported missing.

They say she is safe.

She had last been seen on Monday on Rang St-Régis in the municipality of Saint-Isidore-de-Laprairie, which is located about 20 kilometres south of Châteauguay south of Montreal. 

On Tuesday, a command post was set up and there were plans to deploy a provincial police helicopter to help with search efforts.
