Man, 44, dead after single-vehicle crash north of Winnipeg
A 44-year-old man is dead after the vehicle he was driving crashed off a highway north of Winnipeg and ended up in a ditch.

A 44-year-old man is dead after the vehicle he was driving crashed off a highway north of Winnipeg and ended up in a ditch.
Emergency crews were called around 1 a.m. Wednesday to the intersection of Highway 8 and Road 85 N. in the rural municipality of St. Andrews, a news release from RCMP said.
They found the vehicle in the west ditch of Highway 8, about 32 kilometres north of Winnipeg.
The man was pronounced dead. He was not wearing a seatbelt, RCMP said.
The man's name has not been released but RCMP say he is from Fraserwood, west of Gimli.
Police continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
