One driver dead after Oxford County crash

One driver is dead after a crash in Oxford County between a car and transport truck Monday afternoon. 

The crash happened at around 3 p.m. at the intersection of Oxford Road 8 and 16th Line, north of Woodstock. 

The driver of the car was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and was later died. The driver of the truck was also taken to hospital with minor injuries. 

Oxford Road 8 between 15th Line and Oxford Road 5 was closed for several hours but has since reopened. 

Police are asking anyone who was travelling in the area at the time of the crash who may have dash cam footage to contact them.
