Since September, 2016 there have been more than 20 fires at abandoned houses, barns, sheds and properties in Wellington county.
CBC Kitchener-Waterloo assembled the data available to create this interactive map of the locations known, thus far, based on information from the Ontario Provincial Police.
Between 5:53 a.m. and 6:52 a.m. July 20, 2017, three fires were discovered within 10-15 kilometres of each other in the area between the Town of Erin and Guelph-Eramosa Township.
