TheMuseum in downtown Kitchener is receiving $100,000 from the province of Ontario to host a climate change exhibition.

The grant is part of a $440,000 investment by the provincial government to help boost cultural tourism in Ontario.

"Our investment in the OCAF program will create good jobs and help keep our province open for business and open for jobs by making Ontario a more attractive place to visit," Lisa MacLeod, minister of tourism, culture and sport said in a release Friday.

The money comes from the Ontario Cultural Attractions Fund (OCAF), which supports local arts and culture events in the province.

TheMuseum was one of nine cultural organizations in the province to receive this funding.
