A federal election could be called at any moment, and it's almost certain that our next elected prime minister will be from Alberta. 

While Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre is from Calgary, Liberal Leader Mark Carney was raised in Edmonton. Both seem to be leaning into their Western Canadian roots, but does that strategy work? And if the next prime minister is from our province, does that change anything?
