The medical examiner has ruled the death of 51-year-old Curtis Raymond Dugray of Edmonton to be a homicide.
A witness called police shortly before 10 p.m. Thursday saying he saw an injured man laying in a park near 99th Avenue and 111th Street., said Insp. Joel Whittaker.
Dugray had died by the time police arrived, he said.
Police have not released the cause of death, but said there are visible injuries to the body.
