For a time, Good Charlotte was the biggest pop-punk band in the world. Since then, a lot of new sounds have taken over the throne that pop-punk once held, but Good Charlotte has stayed the course, having just released their seventh record.

It's called Generation Rx, and when you listen to it, you can tell that the band is worried about the world kids are walking into in 2018.

Benji Madden is one of the members of Good Charlotte, and he stopped by the q studio recently to dig into the band's evolution over the past 20 years. He discusses their new album, their longevity and how they've managed to be in a successful band for two decades.
