Today is the birthday of one of Canada's most cherished singer-songwriters, Joni Mitchell. The musical icon famously kicked off her career in her hometown of Saskatoon, playing coffee shops and small nightclubs before packing up and heading east for Toronto where she'd really start to make it big. That was more than 50 years ago. Today, Mitchell turns 75.
