When it comes to Canada's poorest postal code, perspective is everything. For many, it's hard to reconcile the reality of shiny new cafes, when the sidewalk outside is lined with people in need.

But amidst the growing disparity, Landon Hoyt sees opportunity for positive change. He is the Executive Director of the Hastings Crossing Business Improvement Association and he's trying to figure out how new businesses can help offer opportunity to the downtown eastside of Vancouver.
