The Cowichan community on Vancouver Island is renewing calls for increased safety along the Trans-Canada Highway, after a 17-year old girl was struck and killed there earlier this week. As Claire Palmer reports, community members say they don’t feel safe walking along the highway, and that intervention is needed.
