There have been two high-profile cases involving a driver ramming their vehicle into people in Canada recently. Both drivers had a history of mental illness. There is concern that these kinds of incidents reinforce the false stereotype that people with mental illness are inherently violent. But psychologist Nate Fuks says there is no direct link, and in fact, people with mental illness are more likely to be victims of violence.
