Dutch gratitude, Canadian pride on 80th anniversary of Liberation Day
The Netherlands celebrated 80 years of freedom from Nazi occupation, and thanked the surviving Canadian soldiers who secured it with heartfelt tributes to veterans, some of whom are unlikely to make the long journey to mark Liberation Day again.
