Charlottetown scraps its taxi bylaw, saying that will make it easier for operators to set up shop
The City of Charlottetown has gotten rid of its taxi bylaw. The rule meant companies setting up within city limits had to follow certain rules and the city could dictate how much could be charged per trip. Now, with the rules gone, Coun. Julie McCabe says it’ll be easier for new businesses to set up in the city. CBC's Tony Davis has more.
