Windsor city council nixes south Windsor townhouse development plan
Windsor city council has denied a contentious proposal to build townhouses in a south Windsor neighbourhood. The plan would have put 27 new units in an area of Sixth Concession Road. But Ward 9 Coun. Kieran McKenzie says there isn't traffic infrastructure to support the idea. Area residents Abdul Naboulsi and Daniela Fraley were glad for council's decision - But planner David French says the developer will consider appealing. Dalson Chen reports.
