The heat dome in 2021 killed over 600 people. Now, a new SFU study finds we're still not ready for another one. The study analyzed actions local governments in Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley have taken to mitigate severe heat-related events. The conclusion reached by Andreanne Doyon, the study's author, is that we haven't done enough to prepare for another one.
