'A lack of generational fairness': Young voters say parties are prioritizing older Canadians
Cole Reinbold, the secretary-treasurer of the B.C. Federation of Students and Jessica Moorhouse, a financial counsellor and author, say the federal parties are not investing adequately in young Canadians compared to older generations. Reinbold tells BC Today host Michelle Eliot that governments are spending more on issues such as old age security than on issues that affect young people, such as post-secondary education. Moorhouse says the campaign platforms' emphasis on home buying over renting also does not cover the needs of young people.
