A Manitoba First Nation chief accused of sexually assaulting a child was attacked on his way into court in Winnipeg on Monday. The lawyer for Christopher Traverse asked for an adjournment, telling a provincial court judge that Traverse was assaulted before entering the court building. Two people have been arrested.
