Carney says supervised consumption site 'effectiveness' is under review
Liberal Leader Mark Carney, speaking from Saanichton, B.C., on Day 16 of the election campaign, is asked whether federal approval for supervised consumption sites would continue under his government. Carney said that is now under review. His answer comes one day after Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre announced he would prevent new supervised consumption sites from opening and divert their funding to addiction treatment.
