'Why us?': Disbelief in Saint-Pierre and Miquelon over Trump tariff
U.S. President Donald Trump has placed tariffs on island nations around the world, but Steve Le Bars says he was surprised to see his home of Saint-Pierre and Miquelon, the small French territory off Newfoundland, slapped with a heavy tariff. He says many of the island’s 6,000 residents are dumbfounded by the decision.
