Renowned Newfoundland author Michael Crummey can score another notch on his belt. His 2023 novel The Adversary is in the running for this year’s Dublin Literary Award, one of the most valuable literary prizes in the world, with the winner taking home around $154,000. As one of only six authors on the shortlist, Crummey tells the CBC’s Carolyn Stokes about how it feels to be recognized internationally.
