The SPVM is reorganizing officers at two stations so they can put more on the streets patrolling now, and 15 additional ones in fall 2025. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, business owners in the neighbourhood have flagged disturbances from people experiencing homelessness or mental illness, as well as criminal behaviour.
