Randi Gardypie's goal is to make it to Mount Everest base camp. The 42-year-old Merritt B.C. teacher is from Beardy's and Okemasis and Yellow Quill First Nations in Saskatchewan. She's raising money for kids in sports to start her new chapter as an empty-nester.
